As the previous meetings the 6^th will be a lunch-to-lunch workshop. 

On January 28^th 2009 the registration and lunch starts at 12.00 and the first session begins at 13.00.

 At 12.30 on January 29^th the workshop ends with a lunch.

A detailed program will be published as it develops and in its final version in early January.

All participants are encouraged to bring a poster for the poster session in the afternoon on the 28^th.

A lunch-to-lunch school is arranged for those who want an introduction to scattering from soft matter. At 13.00 on January 27^th the tutorial school begins at the same location as the workshop

The meeting takes place at Studenterhusfonden's meeting venue, Ndr. Ringgade 3, 8000 Aarhus C. The room for the main event is called ‘Lokale 2’ and its window section make out one end wall of the building.  ‘Lokale 2.3’ is used for the tutorial school. The venue is marked with a blue circle on figure 1.

There will be no registration fee for the workshop owing to the contributions from the sponsors.  Registered participants are offered two lunches and the workshop dinner for free.

There will also be no registration fee for the tutorial school. Participants will have the opportunity to buy lunches in the nearby canteen.

Registration deadline for both events: December 8^th

Deadline for submission of final titles and abstracts is: January 8^th.

Aarhus Airport is a minor airport with connections to London, Oslo, Stockholm, Goteborg and Copenhagen.

An airport bus will take you directly to the venue in 40 minutes – get off at the stop called v/Randersvej (see figure 3). If you miss the stop, see LOCAL TRANSPORTATION for how to get to the venue from the central station.

Tickets are sold on the airport bus. A one-way fare is € 12. Norwegian Crowns, US Dollars, Pounds, Euros and major credit cards are accepted.

An airport bus will take you to the SAS Radisson Hotel in 1:30 hours.

Tickets are sold on the airport bus. A one-way fare is € 24. According to the webpage most ‘common’ currencies and ‘selected’ credit cards are accepted.

The SAS Radisson Hotel is situated at Margrethesplads 1, 8000 Aarhus C. Taxis should be available at the hotel. Otherwise the central station is five minutes’ walk from the SAS Radisson. See LOCAL TRANSPORTATION on how to get to the venue from the central station.

Pre-reservations have been made at the CABINN Aarhus and at the Scandic Plaza Aarhus. Individual reservations and payment are made directly to the hotels.

Rooms at the CABINN Aarhus Hotel have been booked for the 27^th to the 29^th of January 2009. The cost is € 66 per night for a single room.  Use booking number ‘314703’. Final reservation must be done before January 13^th.

This hotel is situated between the cathedral and the small river that runs through Aarhus.

Rooms at the Scandic Plaza Aarhus have been booked for the 28^th to the 29^th of January 2009. The cost is € 127 per night. The reservation code is ‘KEM280109’. The pre-reservation is valid until January 14^th.

This hotel is situated at the same square as the central station. The bus stop for bus #17 is found right in front of this hotel.

Bus #17 has a stop right in front of the Scandic Plaza Aarhus on the same square where you find the central station. The bus runs every 30 minutes.

Attention! The right stop is on the same side of the road ‘Park Allé’ as the Scandic Hotel. Initially it points in the wrong direction relative to the venue. In the schedule the stop ‘Universitetet’ (which is where you want to go) should be found to the right of ‘Banegårdspladsen’ (which is where you are).

The stop ‘Universitetet’ is reached just after making a right turn and passing the ‘Statsbiblioteket’ which is the tall yellow building found in the lower right corner of figure 1.
